3 months DRC cuts copper production 30to target of 40 percent, cobalt 2009 goal of 50 percent

Plunging metal prices base and lack of funding are the Democratic Republic of the Congo mining strike hard, with the majority of the province of Katanga metallurgical plant now closed.

Congo has been reduced copper production targets for the next three months by 30 to 40 percent and halved the projected 2009 production of cobalt due to factory closures and reduced demand, deputy minister of mines.

Plummeting prices have affected the Democratic Republic of the Congo on the tape of copper and cobalt hard as funding has dried, forcing companies to delay or suspend the operations of development in what had been one of the world's most promising new areas for exploration.

"Compared to what we expected, without the crisis, predicting a 30 to a maximum of 40 per cent drop in copper production for the next three months," Deputy Mines Minister Victor Kasongo told Reuters in an interview on Monday afternoon.

Following the 2006 polls meant to put an end to decades kleptocratic of dictatorship and armed conflict, investors boosted by high world market prices of the Congo flocked to major concessions and largely untapped.

What does it take to start a CD duplication project?

While in his record store, browsing for CDs, you realize how slick and professionally produced CD of your favorite artist to see. This can be a kind of disheartening if your band's last attempt at a demo was recorded in their personal computer and marked with a felt-tip marker black. Why not spend the same and that their next recording manufactured professionally? There are numerous duplications and replication labs out there that are very affordable. The process is very simple, just requires a few things about you. What does it take to start the CD duplication project?

1. CD Artwork
You have to create the work face art for the CD and artwork for any inserts. An insertion is the artwork displayed on the jewel box, which includes the "book" that comes with many CDs. To create these files, you need an image editing / creation program. I recommend using Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop. But there are many programs available for use that will work equally well.

When creating your artwork, please be aware that most print houses (duplication services CD included) all in CMYK. CMYK refers to the different inks used to print your artwork.

C = Cyan
M = Magenta
Y = Yellow
K = Key (Black)

Fun fact: The reason that the black ink is represented by a K and not a B is to prevent confused with blue.

Totally print CMYK is an article that explains itself, and most of you do not have to understand in more detail. Just remember that when you open a new file in your program charting is necessary to provide the file format to CMYK. Also, for high quality printing, your artwork must be at least 300 DIP. DPI means dots per inch, and is a measure of printing resolution, in particular the number of individual dots of ink or toner a printer can produce in a space of an inch. If your artwork is less than 300 DPI, most likely the final impression is blurred. 2. Audio Files

A firmware problem has been widespread by increasing number of hard drives to be the terminal inoperable on power. This issue affects the following drive series: (for the list of numbers affected specific model, see end of report):

The problem affects units with capacities of 500 GB, 750 GB, 1TB or 1.5TB. The units that suffer this failure is â € ~ hanga € ™ in â € ~ been busy € ™, its total capacity were identified as LBA 0 or may report an â € ~ Smarta € ™ error.

The failure is due to a firmware problem that set a limit value valid for driveâ ™ € s â € ~ round loga € ™ case.
